島蓋(英文:Operculum),可分為額葉島蓋、顳葉島蓋或頂葉島蓋,共同覆蓋大腦皮層中的島葉[1][2][3]。

島蓋覆蓋島葉,後者是大腦皮層的一處內陷結構,埋藏在外側溝深處[4]。其中,額頂葉島蓋(frontoparietal operculum)位於中央前回和中央後回上[1][5]。
胎兒一般在母體懷孕第20-22周開始形成島蓋,其中在產前發育第14-16周時,大腦表面開始出現相關的內陷結構[6]。
功能
額葉島蓋與思考、認知以及規劃行為緊密相關[1][7]。顳葉島蓋包含顳橫回,與聽覺相關[1][8]。額頂葉島蓋與味覺品質、初級感覺以及運動功能相關[1][2][9]。
