《神秘的古廟》（英語：Legends of the Hidden Temple）是一檔美國的動作冒險類^[5]兒童遊戲節目。節目背景設定為一藏有失落的瑪雅寶藏並有神廟守衛保護的古廟。^[3]Kirk Fogg充當主持^[4] 並作為團隊指導，Dee Bradley Baker為奧爾梅克石頭像（Olmec colossal heads）配音，石像知曉隱藏在寶藏背後的秘密。^[3]六支隊的兩個孩子（一男一女）將通過親身闖關以及回答有關歷史、神話和地理的問題來競爭獲得一件古廟中的歷史文物。經過三輪淘汰賽，只有一支隊留下，他們需要在三分鐘內完成決賽任務並獲得大獎。

遊戲過程

遊戲設計基於印第安納·瓊斯系列電影^[8]，《Orlando Sentinel》Marianne Arneberg描述遊戲設計就像「《危險邊緣》與《奪寶奇兵》的混合體」。^[5] 遊戲背景被設定為瑪雅文化。^[9]^[10] 節目包含了不同類型的挑戰關卡：一個廣而淺^[11] 的水池（護城河）、一系列智力問答、一個大的兩個半層樓的^[12] 垂直立體迷宮。迷宮路口有一會說話的奧爾梅克石頭像（名叫Olmec）。Olmec講述背景知識以及挑戰規則。每一集都圍繞一個特定的來自全世界的傳說（有真實的亦有虛構的），包括「阿拉伯的勞倫斯的頭飾」、「本傑明·富蘭克林導電實驗的鑰匙」、「葉卡捷琳娜二世綴滿寶石的蛋」、「伊卡洛斯的折翼」。除了提供傳說相關的寶物，傳說也是歷史問答的步驟關鍵，同時又於最後的迷宮設計有關。^[13]
