下薩克森語（德語：Niedersächsisch），又稱西低地德語（德語：Westniederdeutsch），是一系列低地德語方言的總稱，分布於德國西北部、荷蘭東部。它與東低地德語一起構成了低地德語。
方言
日耳曼語族下的分類很難準確定義；大多數都有漸變群的性質，鄰近的方言互相能夠交流，距離較遠的則不能。不過可以認為，大多數西低地德語方言是古薩克遜語的後裔，或受古薩克遜語的強烈影響。
