形態特徵
成年義務小鯢全長99～115毫米，雄性比雌性長。身體呈圓柱狀，頭部呈卵圓形。背部主要為黑褐色，散布銀白色斑點，繁殖季節在水草從中，體色變淺，一般為淡草綠色，腹面灰白色。[2]
分布
義烏小鯢目前僅分布於浙江義烏、蕭山、溫嶺和舟山等地海拔100～200米的丘陵山地。[2]
