浪涌保护器

浪涌保护器（Surge protector或Surge protection device），也称电涌保护器或突波保护器，^[1]是电子设备对雷电或突波防护中不可缺少的一种装置。突波保护器的作用是利用气体放电管或压敏电阻等的元件，把串入电力或信号传输线的暂态过电压如强大的雷电或突波流泄流入大地，将设备或系统电压范围限制所能承受的范围内，使被保护的设备或系统不受电压突波的冲击而损坏。

突波保护装置（SPD）和突波电压抑制器（TVSS）通常用于安装在配电盘、制程控制系统、通讯系统和其他重载工业系统中的电气设备，用于防止瞬间突波电流和电压尖峰，包括由闪电引起的突波电流和电压尖峰。这些设备的缩小版本有时会安装在住宅服务入口配电盘中，以保护家庭设备免受类似危险。^[2]
