玛丽亚·德约瑟夫·范克尔霍夫(英语:Maria DeJoseph Van Kerkhove,1977年2月20日—),美国传染病流行病学家,拥有应对高致病性病原体经验,专长对付新兴及重新出现的传染病。现隶属于世界卫生组织突发卫生事件计划[1],为世卫组织2019冠状病毒病应对小组技术负责人、新兴疾病与人畜共通传染病部门主任[2][3]。
履历
玛丽亚·范克尔霍夫原名玛丽亚·罗珊妮·德约瑟夫,出生于美国纽约州新哈特福德[4][5][6][7],1999年获康奈尔大学生物学理学学士学位[8];2000年获斯坦福医学院流行病学理学硕士学位;2009年获伦敦卫生与热带医学院传染疾病流行病学哲学博士学位,学位论文研究柬埔寨的禽流感疫情[9]。
2000至2005年,任科学咨询机构Exponent纽约健康科学业务部的高级流行病学家,之后任巴斯德研究院柬埔寨分院流行病学家,为博士学位进行H5N1流感的实地研究。
2009至2015年,任伦敦帝国学院医学研究理事会疫情分析与建模中心(Medical Research Council Centre for Outbreak Analysis and Modelling)高级研究院,专长埃博拉出血热、脑膜炎、中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒和黄热病。2009年4月,担任世界卫生组织全球能力、警报与响应群组(Global Capacities, Alert and Response Cluster)技术顾问[10]。2013年,任世卫组织中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒专责小组技术顾问[11]。
2015至2017年任巴斯德研究院全球健康中心(Institut Pasteur's Center for Global Health)疫情研究专责小组(Outbreak Investigation Task Force)主任,负责寨卡病毒、中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒、埃博拉病毒和马尔堡病毒等人畜共通传染病、呼吸道病毒及新兴/重现病毒的实地研究[12],也专门负责搜集高致病性禽流感甲型流感病毒H5N1亚型(HPAI/H5N1)数据的实地研究,关注病毒从家禽到人类的传播风险[10]。
2015年起任伦敦帝国学院荣誉讲师[10]。2017年3月起担任世卫组织中东呼吸综合征冠状病毒技术专家。2019冠状病毒病疫情期间出席世卫组织的日常记者大会[2][13],解答公众对疫情问题的疑惑。2020年2月,范克尔霍夫前往中国了解当地的2019冠状病毒病疫情影响,以及政府控制病毒所采取的措施[1]。
