弗朗西斯·M·费斯米尔

弗朗西斯·米勒·费斯米尔（英语：Francis Miller Fesmire，1959年11月16日—2014年1月31日）是一名美国急诊科医生，也是全国公认的心肌梗塞专家^[1]。他撰写了多篇学术论文，并协助美国急诊医师学会（英语：American College of Emergency Physicians）^{[1][2][3][4][5]}和美国心脏协会／美国心脏病学会（英语：American College of Cardiology）^{[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]}制定治疗疑似心肌梗塞患者的临床标准指南。他对胸痛患者进行了大量研究调查（英语：Academic clinical trial），报告在急诊室进行连续12导联心电图监测^[14][15][16]、两小时三角心脏标记（英语：Cardiac marker）测试^[15][17][18]和核心脏压力测试的有用性^[19]。他的研究成果是2002年发表在《急诊医学年鉴（英语：Annals of Emergency Medicine）》上的《厄兰格胸痛评估协议》（The Erlanger Chest Pain Evaluation Protocol）^[20]。2011年，他出版了长篇小说《纳许维尔天际线》（Nashville Skyline）^[21]，该书获得ForeWord Reviews五星好评^[22]。他近期的研究涉及急诊胸痛患者的风险分层^[23][24]。

生平

费斯米尔于1959年出生于乔治亚州亚特兰大，在田纳西州查塔努加长大，1978年以高中毕业代表的身份从贝勒学校毕业。1981年，他以优异成绩毕业于哈佛学院。费斯米尔于1985年毕业于范德堡大学医学院（英语：Vanderbilt University School of Medicine），1988年在佛罗里达州杰克逊维尔大学医院完成急诊医学住院医师培训，并获得优秀住院医师奖^[25]。1992年，费斯米尔当选为美国急诊医师学会（英语：American College of Emergency Physicians）会士^[25]。1988年至1991年，他在查塔努加纪念医院担任急诊医生。1991年至2014年去世，他在厄兰格男爵夫人医院（英语：Erlanger Health System）执业。

荣誉

1996年，费斯米尔获得急诊医学基金会的青年研究员奖，以表彰他在制定胸痛患者快速评估方案方面所做的工作^[26]。2006年，他因1988年的一份病例报告获得搞笑诺贝尔奖的医学奖，该报告详细介绍使用数位直肠按摩治疗顽固性单侧呃逆（打嗝）的方法^[27][28]。2008 年，费斯米尔被美国急诊医师学会评为急诊医学英雄^[1][26]。

晚年生活

去世时，费斯米尔与妻子和两个儿子住在查塔努加。他是厄兰格医疗中心胸痛中心的医疗主任（英语：Medical director）^[30]。他也是田纳西大学医学院（英语：University of Tennessee College of Medicine）^[30]急诊医学住院医师培训计划^[31]的教授和临床研究主任，以及美国急诊医师学会临床政策委员会主席^[32]。
