刘昭（?—?），字宣卿。平原郡高唐县（今山东省章丘市西北）人。
晋太尉刘寔九世孙，父刘彪，齐征虏晋安王记室。七岁能通老庄，被表兄江淹所赏识，历任尚书仓部郎、无锡令、宣惠豫章王中军、临川记室、通直郎，官至剡令，卒于任上。曾为《续汉书》作注一百八十卷，“凡经部六十六家，史部一百十二家，子部四十二家，集部廿二家，共二百四十二家。”[1]《梁书》卷四九本传称：“昭集后汉同异以注范晔书，世称博悉”[2]。另著有《幼童传》十卷。其子刘绦、刘缓。
