NGC 3310

NGC 3310是位于大熊座的宏观螺旋星系。它是一个星暴星系，被认为距离地球约4600万光年，宽约22,000光年。大约1亿年前，NGC 3310可能与它的其中一个卫星星系相撞，引发了大量的恒星形成。。NGC 3310的环形星团至少在过去的4000万年中一直在进行星暴活动。^[4]
