周定王，姬姓，諱瑜，周之第二十一王，東周第九王，頃王之子也。匡王六年，匡王崩，弟定王瑜代立。定王元年，楚莊王伐陸渾之戎，次於洛，使人問九鼎之重輕。王使王孫滿應設以辭，楚兵乃去。定王二年，楚若敖氏之亂。定王八年，陳夏徵舒殺靈公。定王十年，晉楚邲之戰。定王十四年，晉士會滅赤翟。定王十六年，楚莊王薨。定王十八年，晉齊鞌之戰。定王二十一年，定王崩，子簡王夷代立。
