Scott Cawthon

Scott Braden Cawthon (d. 1978)^[2] Amerikalı eski^[3] video oyunu geliştiricisi ve yazardır. 2014 yılında yaptığı Five Nights at Freddy's'ın yaratıcısı olarak tanınıyor. Bağımsız olarak piyasaya sürülen oyun popülerlik kazandı. Cawthon, 2014'ten 2021'de emekli olana kadar ana seride üç spin-off'a ek olarak 10 oyun geliştirdi. Ayrıca The Silver Eyes (2015) romanı da dahil olmak üzere Five Nights at Freddy's'e dayanan birkaç hikâye yazdı.

Kariyer

Cawthon'un oyun tasarımı ve animasyon kariyeri 1990'larda başladı. Cawthon, ilk oyununu (Doofas adlı) canlı yayın sırasında yayınladı;^[4] oyunu çocukken yaptı. Bu oyun daha sonra Ultimate Custom Night'ın "demosu" olarak bir troll oyunu haline geldi. İlk resmi oyunları 2000'li yılların başında piyasaya sürüldü, bilinen en eski oyunlardan biri olan RPG Max, 2002'de piyasaya çıktı. Daha sonra çocuklar için Hristiyan değerlerine dayalı animasyonlar hazırladığı Hope Animation'a katıldı. 2021 yılında emekli oldu.
