Isthmian League

Isthmian League ( /ˈɪs(θ)miən/ ), Büyük Londra, Doğu ve Güney Doğu İngiltere'yi kapsayan ve çoğunlukla yarı profesyonel kulüplerin yer aldığı bölgesel bir futbol ligidir.

1905 yılında Londra bölgesindeki amatör kulüpler tarafından kurulan lig, şu anda dört bölümde (Premier Division, North, South Central ve South East) 82 takımdan oluşmaktadır.

Southern League ve Northern Premier League ile birlikte İngiliz futbol ligi sisteminin yedinci ve sekizinci seviyelerini oluşturmaktadır. Çeşitli bölgesel alt ligleri vardır ve genel olarak National League South'a besleyici bir lig olarak hizmet eder.

Sponsorluk

Isthmian League, Rothmans'ın 1973-1977 arasında sponsorluğunu üstlendiği ilk lig oldu. Şirket, ligdeki pozisyonlar için para ödülü sundu, ancak kart gören oyuncular için bu para kesiliyordu. Böylece para ödülü hem daha fazla gol hem de fair play teşvik ediyordu. Entain's Pitching In 2020-21 sezonunda sponsor olarak duyuruldu. Duyuru sırasında Entain, eski adıyla GVC Holdings olarak biliniyordu. Bu ortaklık kapsamında Isthmian, Northern Premier ve Southern ligleriyle birlikte "Trident Leagues" olarak pazarlanıyordu.^[3]

Ryman ayrıca 2007'de Isthmian Youth League ve 2013'te Isthmian Development League'in kurulmasında sponsor oldu.^[4] Ryman başkanı Theo Paphitis, lig sponsorluklarına kendi şirketleri aracılığıyla katkıda bulundu. Robert Dyas, 2014 yılında Isthmian League Cup, Isthmian Veterans Cup, Isthmian Disability Cup ve Isthmian Youth Play-off Cup'a; Boux Avenue ise 2014'ten 2017'ye kadar Isthmian Women's Cup'a sponsor oldu.

20 yıllık sponsorluğun ardından Birleşik Krallık futbolundaki en uzun süreli spor sponsorluğunu gerçekleştirern Ryman, 2016-17 sezonu sonunda sponsorluğunu sona erdirdi.^[5]
