మాలకాకి

మాలకాకి (Jungle Crow) శాస్త్రీయ నామం Corvus macrorhynchos. ఇవి ఆసియా ఖండంలో విస్తరించిన కాకులు. ఇవి ఎలాంటి శీతోష్ణ పరిస్థితుల్లోనైనా జీవనం సాగించగలవు. వీటికి పొడవైన ముక్కు ఉండటం వలన వీటిని పొడవు ముక్కు కాకులు (Large-billed Crow or Thick-billed Crow) గా వ్యవహరిస్తారు. మాలకాకులలో 11 ఉపజాతులు ఉన్నాయి.^[2][3] ఉదాహరణలు:

• Corvus (m.) culminatus - భారతీయ మాలకాకి (Indian Jungle Crow)
