పాకిస్తాన్ ఉద్యమం లేదా తెహ్రిక్-ఇ-పాకిస్తాన్ (Urdu: تحریک پاکستان – Taḥrīk-i Pākistān[Taḥrīk-i Pākistān] Error: {{Transliteration}}: unrecognized language / script code: urdu (help)) అన్నది బ్రిటీష్ ఇండియా సామ్రాజ్యంలోని ముస్లిం సంఖ్యాధిక్య ప్రాంతాలను విభజించి పాకిస్తాన్ గా ఏర్పాటు చేసే లక్ష్యంతో ఉద్యమించి, విజయం సాధించిన మత, రాజకీయ ఉద్యమం.
ఈ ఉద్యమం భారత జాతీయోద్యమానికి సమాంతరంగా సాగింది. కానీ పాకిస్తాన్ ఉద్యమం దక్షిణాసియాలోని ముస్లిముల మత అస్తిత్వాన్ని, రాజకీయ ఆసక్తులను పరిరక్షించే కొత్త జాతి-రాజ్యం ఏర్పాటును ఆకాంక్షించింది.[1] అలీఘర్లో సర్ సయ్యద్ అహ్మద్ ఖాన్ ప్రారంభించిన వేరే విద్యా ఉద్యమం తర్వాతి కాలంలో పాకిస్తాన్ ఉద్యమానికి నేపథ్యాన్ని నిర్మిచింది, అదే అలీఘర్లో తొలినాళ్ళ రాజకీయ ఉద్యమాలు సంఘటితమై నిర్మితమయ్యాయి.[2] ఆలిండియా ముస్లిం లీగ్ ఏర్పాటు, ప్రాధాన్యత కలిగిన ముస్లింలకు బ్రిటీష్ రాజ్ లో ముస్లింల మౌలిక హక్కులను కాపాడేందుకు ఆశించడం వంటి అంశాలతో రాజకీయ ఉద్యమం ఏర్పడడానికి సయ్యద్ అహ్మద్ ఖాన్, వికార్-ఉల్-హక్ నేపథ్యాన్ని నిర్మించి కృషిచేశారు.[3] During the initial stages of the movement, it adopted the vision of philosopher Iqbal after addressing at the convention of the AIML's annual session.[4][5] Muhammad Ali Jinnah's constitutional struggle further helped gaining public support for the movement in the four provinces.[6] Urdu poets such as Iqbal and Faiz used literature, poetry and speech as a powerful tool for political awareness.[7][8][9] Feminists such as Sheila Pant and Fatima Jinnah championed the emancipation of Pakistan's women and their participation in national politics.[10]
