V803 Centauri är en kataklysmisk dubbelstjärna bestående av en dvärgheliumstjärna som förlorar massa till en vit dvärg. Den är ett exempel på AM Canum Venaticorum-typen av kataklysmiska variabla stjärnor.[7]
