Námestie Maratónu mieru je námestie v Starom meste v Košiciach na severnom konci Hlavnej ulice. Námestie je pomenované po Medzinárodnom maratóne mieru, o ktorom svedčí aj pamätník maratónca umiestnení pred Východoslovenským múzeom.[1] Na opačnej strane námestia sa nachádza sídlo Košického samosprávneho kraja. Námestie taktiež slúži ako prestupná stanica medzi linkami MHD.[2]

Námestie za svoju existenciu vystriedalo množstvo názvov. Od 1. polovice 19. storočia sa volalo Epitész tér, Epitészi piacz (Stavebné námestie). Na konci 19. storočia Ferencz József tér. Od 3. októbra 1919 Husitské námestie. Od augusta 1938 nieslo názov Námestie Andreja Hlinku. Následne od 10. novembra 1938 Ferencz József-tér. Od 1. júla 1939 malo názov Báthory István-tér. Od 19. januára 1945 bolo pomenové po husitoch na Husitské námestie. 1. júla 1945 malo názov Stalinovo námestie. A od 1960 je pomenované podľa maratónu až do súčasnosti.[1][3]
