Wheaton is a city in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, 98 people lived there.[3]

The first post office in Wheaton was founded in 1870. It was called Leghorn until 1883.[4] The post office remained in operation until it was closed in 1992.[5]

According to the United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.15 square miles (0.39 km2). All of it is land.[2]
Wheaton is part of the Manhattan, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the 2020 census, there were 98 people, 34 households, and 30 families living in Wheaton. Of the households, 85.3% owned their home and 14.7% rented their home.
The median age was 36.5 years. Of the people, 87.8% were White and 12.2% were two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.0% of the people.[3][6]
As of the 2010 census, there were 95 people, 34 households, and 24 families living in the city.[7]
