Vrin is a former municipality in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is found of the district Surselva. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Vrin, Cumbel, Degen, Lumbrein, Morissen, Suraua, Vignogn and Vella merged into the new municipality of Lumnezia. In 1998, Vrin was awarded the Wakker Prize for the preservation of its architectural heritage. It was first mentioned in 1208 as Varin.
