Vittorio Catani (17 July 1940 – 23 November 2020) was an Italian science fiction writer. He was born in Lecce and worked in Bari, Italy. He started publishing essays and fiction in 1962. His first novel, Gli universi di Moras, won the Urania in 1990. Some of his works were published for La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno.
His second science fiction novel, Il Quinto Principio, was published in December 2009 by Urania.[1][2]
Catani died in Bari on 23 November 2020, at the age of 80.[3]
