Florencia Vicenta de Casillas-Martinez Cardona[1] (born July 19, 1941), known by her stage name Vikki Carr, is an American singer. Her singing career has lasted several decades.[2] She works in a variety of music genres, including pop, jazz and country music.[3] Her greatest success, however, comes from singing in the Spanish language.[4]
Carr has won three Grammy Awards. She was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Latin Grammy Awards.
Carr was born to parents of Mexican ancestry.
