Uzbeks are a Turkic-speaking ethnic group who mainly live in Central Asian countries. Uzbeks are the majority of people living in Uzbekistan. They are a minority group in AfghanistanTajikistanKazakhstan, KyrgyzstanTurkmenistanRussia, Pakistan and China. Uzbeks speak Uzbek language of the Turkic language family.
