The Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota. The production of the Sequoia began in 2000, with the first generation being launched as a larger alternative to the Toyota 4Runner. Designed primarily for the North American market, it offers substantial seating capacity, typically for seven or eight passengers.
First Generation (2000–2007)
The first-generation Toyota Sequoia was introduced in 2000 and was based on the Toyota Tundra pickup truck platform. It was initially available in two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) configurations, with a choice of V8 engines. The vehicle featured a spacious three-row interior and was designed to compete with other large SUVs such as the Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Tahoe.

Second Generation (2008–2022)
The second-generation Toyota Sequoia was introduced in 2008 and featured a more refined design. It offered improved safety features and more powerful engine options. The standard engine during this generation was a 5.7-liter V8.
