Namibia uses Central Africa Time (CAT)[1] (UTC+02:00) year-round since September 2017.[2]From 1994 until 2017, the country used West Africa Time (WAT) (UTC+01:00) during winter and West Africa Summer Time (WAST) (UTC+02:00) during daylight saving time. Namibia introduced a new bill on February 23, 2017, to get rid of time changes in the country.[3]The bill went into effect on September 3, 2017.[2]
