Tencent Holdings Ltd., also known as Tencent (腾讯), is a Chinese multinational technology and entertainment conglomerate and holding company. They are headquartered in Shenzhen. It is also the largest company in the gaming industry in the world based on its investments.[4]

It was founded in 1998. It owns Riot Games and Tencent Music. It has over 600 investments,[5] including 40% of Epic Games and 4% of Tesla. Tencent has also entered the Artificial Intelligence industry by releasing their AI solution called "Hunyuan" in 2023.[6]
