Sajid Nadiadwala's production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment. The principal photography of the movie began in February 2018.[2][3][4] The movie was also shot for 10 days in Sambhar Lake Town which will be shown as Kota, Rajasthan.[5] Super 30 was released on 12 July 2019.[6] Super 30 is Phantom Films's last production.[7] It is based on the life of Anand Kumar, an Indian math teacher from the 1970s.
After Anand Kumar was accused of fraud, the makers of upcoming movie Super 30 decided to not call their movie a biopic anymore.[13]
Super 30 will be the last movie of Phantom Films. The production house has been dissolved because director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual misconduct by actress Nayani Dixit and a Phantom employee. This will be the last project of Phantom Films.[14]
Ajay Atul was the music composer for the film and Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics for the songs. Vipin Nair of The Hindu rated the soundtrack 3.5/5, calling it a "pretty engaging soundtrack ".[15][16] The Times of India based Debarati Sen, in her review, said the composers "do not fail to impress".[17]
