Spike Jonze (/dʒoʊnz/; born Adam Spiegel; October 22, 1969) is an American director, producer, screenwriter and actor. His movies include Being John Malkovich (1999), Adaptation (2002), Where the Wild Things Are (2009), and Her (2013).
Jonze was born in Rockville, Maryland.[1] He grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and Gulph Mills, Pennsylvania.
