Shia Saide LaBeouf (born June 11, 1986) is an American actor, comedian and director. He is best known for his work in the movies Transformers (2007) and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and the Disney Channel series Even Stevens. His parents are Jeffery LaBeouf and Shayna Saide. LaBeouf is an only child. He started his career doing stand up comedy in local places such as coffee houses. He graduated from high school in 2003 and hopes to attend college, preferably Yale University.[source?] He won the Orange Rising Star Award in 2008. He played Jerôme in the 2013 movie Nymphomaniac.

LaBeouf is named after his grandfather who was also a stand up comedian. His parents are divorced. He lives with his mother in Los Angeles.
In 2012, LaBeouf began having a relationship with actress and model Mia Goth. In September 2018, it was announced the couple had separated and filed for divorce.[3] However, in February 2022, it was reported that Goth was pregnant with their first child.[4] They have a daughter, born March 2022.[5][6]
