Savannah Guthrie

Savannah Clark Guthrie (born December 27, 1971) is an American broadcast journalist and lawyer. She is a main co-anchor of the NBC News morning show Today.^[1] She began this position in July 2012.

Guthrie joined NBC News in September 2007 as a legal analyst and correspondent. Between 2008–2011, she was the White House correspondent. In 2010 and 2011, as co-anchor of the MSNBC program The Daily Rundown, Guthrie became the co-host of Today's third hour with Natalie Morales and Al Roker.^[2] She stopped being the third-hour and chief legal analyst in 2012. Also in 2012 she replaced Ann Curry as the co-anchor of Today.

Guthrie was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She was raised in the United States.
