Raja Pervaiz Ashraf (Urdu: راجہ پرویز اشرف; born 26 December, 1950 in Sanghar) is 21st and current Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 16 April 2022. He also served as the 19th Prime Minister of Pakistan. He took charge of office on 22 June 2012 after disqualification of 18th prime minister, Yousaf Raza Gillani.[1] He belongs to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
