A pink suit was worn by Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, the First Lady of the United States on November 22, 1963 when her husband, United States President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.^[1][2] It was raspberry pink and navy trim collared suit was matched with a trademark matching pink pillbox hat and white gloves.^[3] After President Kennedy was assassinated, Jacqueline Kennedy wanted to wear the outfit, stained with his blood, during the swearing-in of the new incoming 36th President of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson on Air Force One.
