Peru at the Olympics

Peru at the Olympics is a history which includes 20 games in 15 countries and 300+ athletes.^[1] Since 1900, the Peru has contributed to the growth of the "Olympic Movement".^[2]

History

The Peru National Olympic Committee was formed in 1924. It was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1936.^[3]

Peru's team first competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris.^[1]

Since 1936, the nation has been in all but one Summer Olympic Games. Peru was in the Winter Olympic Games in 2010.
