Omnisexuality is a sexual orientation that describes a person that is attracted to all genders, but gender usually plays a role in the person's attraction and preference.[1][2] It can be seen as a form of multisexuality,[3][4] or non-monosexuality.[5][6]
Omnisexuality can be described as being under the bisexual umbrella. It is similar to, but distinctly different from pansexuality. Omnisexuality is the attraction to all genders, but gender preference will play a role in that attraction.[7]
An international survey conducted by Ipsos found that around 1% of the global population self-identify as pansexual or omnisexual, while in the United States, this proportion is estimated to be approximately 2%[8]
