Nick Fury

Colonel Nicholas Joseph "Nick" Fury is a fictional war hero and spy who helps Marvel Comics heroes such as Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Spider-Man. He formed two groups one with spies S.H.I.E.L.D. and another one with superheroes, the Avengers.^[1] He has an eye-patch and uses guns or advanced technology to fight criminals. He used to serve in World War II with Captain America.

In the Marvel movie versions about some heroes such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Spider-Man: Far from Home, Secret Invasion, and The Marvels, he is played by actor Samuel L. Jackson.^[2]
