Mark Keith Robinson (born August 8, 1968) is an American politician. He was the 35th lieutenant governor of North Carolina from 2021 to 2025.[1] He is a member of the Republican Party. He is the first African-American to hold the office. He is known for his controversial views on transgender people, denying the holocaust, former President Barack Obama and Muslims.[2] He unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2024, losing to Josh Stein.
