Mahathir, the Musical is a Malaysian musical. It was performed at Istana Budaya in Kuala Lumpur from September 24 to October 4, 2010.[1] The musical is about former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.[2][3]
Synopsis
The musical follows the life of Mahathir. It shows his rural background, Malaysia's independence in 1957, and his success in politics starting in the 1960s.[4] It also portrays Mahathir as a visionary, from his childhood selling balloons to his rise as Prime Minister in 1981 and his time in office until he retired in 2003.[5]
