Kyzyl (Tuvan and Russian: Кызыл, romanized: Kızıl) is a city in Russia. It is the capital of the Tuvan Republic. Its name comes from the Tuvan word for 'red' or 'crimson'. Population: 109,918(2010 Census);[3] 104,105(2002 Census);[8] 84,641(1989 Census).[9]
