Kitwe
city in Zambia From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kitwe is the second largest city in size and population in the country Zambia. Kitwe has a population of 504,194 (2010 census). Kitwe was found in 1936 as the railway line was being built by Cecil Rhodes' company. The city is home to a number of mining operations including the Mopani Copper Mines.
