A humid subtropical climate is a type of climate. It has hot, humid summers and warm, mild or cool winters. In the Köppen climate classification, they are split into Cfa when there is no dry season and Cwa when there are dry winters. Unlike in a tropical climate, snow and frost can occur in a humid subtropical climate.
