87th Governor of Connecticut From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mary Carolyn "Jodi" Rell[1] (born Mary Carolyn Reavis; 16 June 1946) is an American Republican politician. She was the eighty-seventh Governor of Connecticut. Rell was Governor from 2004 to 2011. Before that, she was Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut under John G. Rowland. Rowland resigned during a corruption investigation. Rell was the second female Governor of Connecticut, after Ella Grasso. She was replaced in 2010 by Dannel Malloy.
