Jesse Tyler Ferguson (born October 22, 1975) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Mitchell Pritchett in the ABC mockumentary sitcom Modern Family from 2009–2020. He has also had roles in the CBS sitcom The Class, the ABC comedy Ugly Betty and the 2016 animated movie Ice Age: Collision Course.

Ferguson was born in Missoula, Montana. He is openly gay, and married his husband Justin Mikita in 2013.[1]
