Jennette McCurdy

Jennette Michelle Faye McCurdy (born June 26, 1992[1]) is an American writer, director, podcaster, singer, and former actress. She played Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon TV series iCarly She reprised the character in the iCarly spin-off series Sam & Cat She also appeared in other TV series including True Jackson, VP, Malcolm in the Middle and Lincoln Heights. McCurdy grew up in Garden Grove, California.[1][2]

McCurdy was born on June 26, 1992. She was born in Long Beach, California, and grew up in Garden Grove with her parents and three older brothers.

Beginning career

McCurdy began acting at 8 years old. She made guest appearances on Zoey 101. From 2007 to 2012, she played Sam Puckett in the TV series iCarly and the 2013 spin-off series Sam & Cat. She also made guest appearances on Malcom in The Middle.
