Jean Piat (23 September 1924 – 18 September 2018) was a French actor and writer. He was born in Lannoy, Nord, France. Piat was known for his roles in many French classic movies in the 1940s to 1960s such as The Lame Devil, The Milky Way, Rider on the Rain. He retired in 2017.

Piat died on 18 September 2018 in Paris from a short-illness at the age of 93.[1]
