HV 986 (also known as WOH S368) is a red supergiant variable star, it is 867 times larger than the radius of the Sun. It is located in the Large Magellanic Cloud in the constellation of Dorado. It has a spectral type of M4I C. It has an effective temperature of 3,861 K. The radial velocity of HV 986 is 280 km/s.[1]
