Emeryville, California

Emeryville is a small city in Alameda County, California. It is along the shore of the San Francisco Bay between Oakland and Berkeley.

History

The Ohlone Native Americans lived here before 1776.

Population

The 2020 United States Census^[1] said that 12,905 people lived in Emeryville.

Schools

Emery Unified School District teaches kids in Emeryville.^[2] Its schools, both in the same site, are Anna Yates Elementary School and Emery Secondary School.

German International School of Silicon Valley also has a campus. In 2018 this campus will close and become separate school,^[3] called the East Bay German International School.^[4]
