Elon Lages Lima

Elon Lages Lima (July 9, 1929 – May 7, 2017)^[1] was a Brazilian mathematician. His research concerns differential topology, algebraic topology, and differential geometry.^[2] Lima was an influential figure in the development of mathematics in Brazil.^[3]
