Edmond Simeoni (6 August 1934 – 14 December 2018)[1] was a French politician. He was born in Corte, Corsica, France.[2] From 1981 to 1992, he was a member of the Corsican Assembly. He resigned in 1992 due to his controversial support of the militant group National Liberation Front of Corsica. Simeoni was a known nationalist.
He was re-elected to the assembly in 2003. He would serve until his death in 2018.
Simeoni died at a hospital in Ajaccio, Corsica from heart failure on 14 December 2018, aged 84.[3]
