Earl John Hindman (October 20, 1942 – December 29, 2003) was an American actor. He is known for his role as the neighbor (whose whole face was always hidden from television viewers) Wilson W. Wilson Jr. in the television sitcom Home Improvement (1991–1999), starring Tim Allen. He also appeared in the television movie Kojak: The Price of Justice (1987).

Hindman was born in Bisbee, Arizona. He married actress Molly McGreevey in 1976.
Hindman died from lung cancer on December 29, 2003, in Stamford, Connecticut. He was 61.[1][2]
