Deni Alar (born 18 January 1990) is an Austrian professional footballer. He plays as a striker for Austrian Regionalliga club DSV Leoben.

Club career
He started his career with FC Zeltweg and DSV Leoben. Then he played for Austrian Football Bundesliga side Kapfenberger SV. He debuted in the Bundesliga on 2 May 2009 versus SV Ried. The next team was Rapid Wien from 2011 till 2016.[1] This transfer was announced on 3 June 2011.
After this time he went to SK Sturm Graz. On 9 May 2018 he played as Sturm Graz beat Red Bull Salzburg in extra time in the 2017/18 Austrian Cup.[2] 2018 he returned to Rapid Wien. On 26 June 2019, he was loaned toLevski Sofia.[3]
On 28 June 2021 he went to SKN St. Pölten.[4] After this year he went to First Vienna. [5]With Vienna he became Champion and the team was promoted to the Second League.[6]
In August 2023, Alar returned to league rivals DSV Leoben. In Leoben he became the top scorer in the 2nd division with 16 goals in 22 league appearances. However, Leoben's eligibility for the 2nd division was revoked after the 2023/24 season, forcing the team to retire from professional football.Then Alar moved to second division club Admira Wacker for the 2024/25 season. International career
He played 16 matches for the Austrian national U21 team. He was first called in the Austria national team for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Republic of Ireland in June 2017.[8] On 14 November 2017 he debuted for the team in a 2–1 victory in a friendly against Uruguay. [9]
