He graduated from Pittsburgh University.[1] He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the 37th overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft.[2]

Blair last played for the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League in 2019.[3] He would sign a contract to play for Carpegna Prosciutti Basket Pesaro of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) in 2019. However, the contract was later terminated. This happened after Blair lost an appeal to FIBA for his two-year suspension because of testing positive for oxymorphone-oxycodone.[4]
