David P. Montgomery (June 26, 1946 – May 8, 2019) was an American baseball executive. During his career, he held many roles at the Philadelphia Phillies. Montgomery and Bill Giles bought the Phillies for USD$30m in 1984. He was the chairman, minority-owner and president of the Major League Baseball (MLB) team. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
